1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to TurboCreate, an AI-assisted coding education program offered in partnership with Robot Academy. By creating an account, enrolling a child, or using our services, you ("Parent," "you," or "your") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TurboCreate/Robot Academy.
2. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility
2.1 Parent Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must be the parent or legal guardian of any child you enroll
- You represent that you have the authority to bind the child to these Terms
2.2 Student Requirements
- Students must be between 9-13 years old at the time of enrollment
- Students may only use the services under parental supervision and consent
- Each student must have their own individual account created by their parent
2.3 Parental Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are fully responsible for your child's use of TurboCreate
- You will monitor your child's participation and AI interactions
- You will ensure your child follows acceptable use guidelines
- You will maintain the security of your child's login credentials
- You understand that AI-assisted coding involves technology that may not always be perfect
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
- Parents create a master account using their email address
- Parents create student sub-accounts for each enrolled child
- All information provided must be accurate and complete
- You agree to keep your account information up to date
3.2 Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized use of your account
3.3 Account Termination by You
- You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@robot-academy.com
- Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless covered by our refund policy (Section 5.4)
4. Service Description
4.1 What We Provide
TurboCreate in partnership with Robot Academy offers:
- 6-week cohort-based coding courses teaching AI-assisted game development
- Weekly live instruction sessions (60 minutes each)
- Small-group instruction with maximum 1:6 instructor-to-student ratio
- Access to our AI coding assistant tools during the cohort period
- 3 months of free platform access following cohort completion
- Optional continued platform access at $20/month after free period
- Student learning materials and project templates
- Parent dashboard for monitoring student progress and AI interactions
- Email support during the cohort period
- Makeup support for students who miss sessions (no session recordings provided)
4.2 What We Don't Guarantee
- Specific learning outcomes or skill mastery
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That AI tools will always produce perfect code
- Individual attention or customized instruction beyond our 1:6 ratio commitment
- Compatibility with all devices or internet connections
- That students will complete specific projects or games
4.3 Technical Requirements
You are responsible for:
- Providing your child with a compatible computer/laptop (Windows or Mac)
- Ensuring stable internet connectivity
- Installing any required software (we provide step-by-step setup guidance)
- Basic technical troubleshooting with email support available
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Pricing
- First child: $397 per 6-week cohort
- Additional siblings: $247 per 6-week cohort
- Optional platform access after free period: $20/month
- Prices are subject to change for future cohorts (existing enrollments honored at original price)
5.2 Payment Processing
- All payments processed securely through Stripe
- Payment is due in full at time of enrollment
- We do not store your credit card information
5.3 Failed Payments
- If payment fails, your enrollment will not be confirmed
- You will be notified and given opportunity to update payment information
5.4 Refund Policy (Peace-of-Mind Policy)
- Within 2 weeks of registration: 100% refund if you cancel within 2 weeks of having registered
- After 2 weeks: No refunds, but you may transfer enrollment to a future cohort at no charge, or receive a credit for future programs

Refunds processed within 7-10 business days to original payment method.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
6.1 Permitted Uses
Students may use TurboCreate to:
- Learn coding and game development skills
- Create original games and projects
- Interact with AI coding assistants for educational purposes
- Collaborate with other students during class sessions
- Ask questions related to the curriculum
6.2 Prohibited Uses
Students may NOT:
- Use offensive, inappropriate, or harmful language in AI interactions
- Attempt to create violent, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate content
- Share login credentials with anyone else
- Attempt to circumvent safety filters or content moderation
- Attempt to access other students' accounts or projects
- Use inappropriate prompts designed to trick AI filters
- Harass, bully, or interact inappropriately with other students
- Use the service for any commercial purposes
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the platform
- Share or distribute course materials outside the program
6.3 Consequences of Violations
- First violation: Warning and parental notification
- Repeated violations: Removal from program without refund
- Serious violations: Immediate removal and potential legal action
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, curriculum, videos, templates, and platform code are owned by TurboCreate/Robot Academy. Students retain ownership of games and projects they create. With explicit parental opt-in consent, we may display student games in our public gallery and use screenshots in marketing materials.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents control their children's accounts and data. We do not sell or share children's information with third parties for marketing. Parents can view and delete their children's data at any time. 9. Content Monitoring and Safety
All AI interactions are logged and monitored for safety. Parents can view complete interaction history in their dashboard. Automated filters screen for inappropriate content. While we implement safety measures, AI technology is imperfect and parental supervision remains the primary safeguard.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
TurboCreate is provided "AS IS" without warranties. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid for the cohort. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. TurboCreate is an educational service, not a guarantee of skill mastery.
11. Third-Party Services
Our platform uses third-party services including Stripe (payment processing), Vercel/Supabase/Railway (hosting), Resend (email), and various AI language models. We are not responsible for third-party service failures or data practices.
12. Modifications to Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Termination by TurboCreate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, remove students for behavior issues, cancel cohorts due to insufficient enrollment (minimum 3 students) with at least 7 days notice and full refund, or discontinue the service entirely with 30 days notice.
14. Dispute Resolution
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at info@robot-academy.com to attempt informal resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes not resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court.
